The ALLOW lamp was created at the beginning of March 2015. It was inspired by the earlier design of the “glass jellyfish” made of glass by means of the fusing method in 2007.

As the glass-fusing technology makes it impossible to bend glass in 3 planes, I came up with an idea to make the “jellyfish” of flexible material i.e. PCV.

It is made of the flexible PCV material which has been stretched over a specially prepared membrane through heating and stretching. Thanks to this, it is possible to create a unique shape of a spatial form.

The textile has enhanced fire resistance, is resistant to water, moisture, chlorine, salt solutions, X-rays, sulfuric acid and nitric acid, washing powders. The material is non-toxic, prevents the growth of fungi, is sterilisable and washable.

The innovative features of the “Allow” lamp are its shape, form, materials used and the configuration of light sources. The lamp is characterised by a remarkable, unique design.

The ALLOW lamp registered in the EU from March 15, 2016 with RCD number 003028893-0001 and 003028893-0002 has received several awards and distinctions:
